Thanks for the tips. I'm a librarian too and I was getting frustrated trying to find things using the keyword "reading" and "importance". I didn't fine much, but I will certainly use the author videos. I loved a video called Mr. Bean - Library. Very funny. You might enjoy it.

Hi, Kathleen. Thanks for the link to Voices from the Inglenook. It certainly has some helpful sites and should prove to be a good resource.

I am the librarian at The Schenck School.

Thank you for the information about the Nancy Drew article. As a media specialist, this is certainly of interest to me. I look forward to coming back and checking out your blog to see what other goodies you offer.

Hi Kathleen,
Thanks for the post on the Horn Book site and blog, as well as the information about the Nancy Drew article. I will definitely look that up as I was a major Nancy Drew fan growing up. I, too, am a librarian, so I especially look forward to reading your posts and hope to get some great ideas. I'm still getting used to just setting up the blog and the technical stuff, but I hope to be able to add some interesting and helpful information to my blog that might be of interest to you. VOYA has been of real help to me in my job as well as the YALSA listserv, as I work primarily with grades 9-12.

Thanks for sticking with it, even though you had some difficulty. As we all know, things that are valuable often require more effort than the easy things. I promise you there are more fun things on the way!
